We designed the new logo for the Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau. The logo represents the idea of the sightseeing areas of Osaka spreading out from the city's famous landmark, Osaka Castle. The powerful typeface used for the word "Osaka" represents an "Osaka full of vitality," while the rays of light in the background reminiscent of a sunrise and shining golden color represent an "Osaka shining throughout the world." In addition, the background design uses the helmet of Taiko Hideyoshi as a motif and represents an "Osaka overflowing with history and culture."
