We designed the exterior and interior space for the shoe repair shop Maison de Ccessur in San-no-miya City(Kobe) in partnership with First Line interior design studio.

An exterior banner-like awning essentially screens the entire building façade, and presents a dramatic design of classical and fantastic architectural motifs. The design is consistent with the ambience of the San-no-miya street setting, but is bold enough to catch the eye. The shop interior features similarly strong graphics in the form of black-and-white photographs of the workshop on folding screens. The graphics are incorporated in display units as well, to establish a consistent look throughout the shop.
